Psychoeducational Evaluations

I provide comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations. I offer several types of evaluations:

• Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder

• Specific learning disorders (e.g., dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia) 

• Autism

• Diagnostic clarification

The Evaluation Process

Usually, a comprehensive psychoeducational evaluation takes about 4 to 8 weeks and about 10-16 hours of work depending on the referral question and the speed to collect records and collateral information. The process includes:

• A 50-minute intake appointment to conduct a clinical interview. For children/adolescents evaluation, only parents need to attend this appointment.

• Two to three 2- to 3-hour in-person testing sessions

• Gathering data from collaterals (e.g., teachers, spouses, parents), filling out questionnaires

• Integrating and interpreting the data collected

• A 50-minute virtual feedback meeting to go over the results and recommendations. For children/adolescents evaluation, only parents need to attend this appointment. Older adolescents are encouraged to attend.
