I am a licensed psychologist (PY61408862) in Washington state. I obtained my PhD in School Psychology from the University of Washington, Seattle.
My school psychology training has prepared me for comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations. My schooling also trained me in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, and Interpersonal Therapy. My internship and working experiences in schools and community mental health provided me with experiences in conducting psychoeducational/mental health evaluations and therapy with children, adolescents, and adults.
When not working, I enjoy going on long walks and playing in the park with my dog, Lingling. I also enjoy gardening, cooking, and trying out new restaurants.
I grew up in Beijing, China. Growing up there gave me a solid understanding of my language and culture.
I went to the University of California, Los Angeles for my undergraduate degree. I enjoyed the California sunshine and the bustling city life there.
However, I was ready for some moisture and greenery! I moved to Seattle for graduate school and fell in love with the mild weather and the balanced city life here.
